Dear Future Tiger Cub Parents,
Our Pack meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at St. Michael’s. A Pack is a group of several Dens. In our case, Pack 216 is made up of 13 Dens. Our Dens are grouped from grades 1 through 5. Tiger Cubs are the 1st grade dens. The next group of Tiger Cubs will begin in August 2011. Parents will meet in July 2011 for orientation and selection of Dens and leaders.
Our Pack is very active. This year we went to the Carolina Tiger Rescue, a rock climbing gym, the Morehead Planetarium, an overnight at the Roanoke Aquarium, and many other activities.
In addition, we have several activities that we do each year to serve the community, to include singing Christmas Carols at a retirement community, a conservation project for the Town of Cary, and collecting food for families in need.

There is a very useful document that can be downloaded from our website at http://pack216.cary.nc.us/bylaws.html It is a searchable document that will answer just about any question regarding how Pack 216 runs our Cub Scouting program. We do require that every parent take an active role in the Pack, whether it is volunteering to help organize one event during the year, or volunteering to be a Pack leader. Please see our policies in the bylaws before committing to join the pack.
